Romance novel writers, if you’ve been putting the finishing touches on your manuscript, now’s the time to get it ready for submissions and be part of a big launch.
Quartet Press, one of the latest romance novel publishers, has just announced its launch this week. The digital publishing house is now accepting manuscript submissions for their Romance imprint, Quench!, slated to launch in Fall 2009.
Quartet’s intent from its inception, as stated in their announcement, has been “to build a high-quality, community-centric digital publishing house”. And they’re off to a running start!
The publisher ran a contest before they announced the launch and now have a new slogan, “For the Readers. For the Authors. For the Stories.”
To allow for the publication of titles other than romance, Quartet modified the suggestion entered by winner Lori Susan Green. Lori’s entry was “For the reader. For the writing. For the story. For the romance.”
